Hi there,

Today we are working with HTML5 and CSS3, but is that enough to give the same potential that we can see on some flash websites? Can that be reproduced using ExtJS ?

For example something similar with what we can see on this template
http://www.flashmint.com/template-demo-2330.html

If we can't do it only using ExtJs, but we need to integrate other technology which one should fit the best ?

Would the effort to develop such app much bigger than using flash ?

Thank you for let me know

Bruno

With ExtJS exclusively you have a number of positioning / sizing animation options and you can use the library to add style attributes and CSS classes to DOM elements for perspective effects, but the library itself doesn't offer a way to do perspective effects. ExtJS 4 is designed to work with IE6+ and perspective is going to be available on newer browsers only. So, you can certainly do the DOM effects you're seeing on the linked site, but it'll be by applying CSS/style to elements directly and the browsers supported will not be the full range that ExtJS supports.
