errorReader: new Ext.data.reader.Xml (http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/4.2.2/#!/api/Ext.data.reader.Xml)({ record : 'field', success: '@success' }, [ 'id', 'msg' ])can be found http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/4.2.2/#!/api/Ext.form.action.Submit

w (http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/4.2.2/#!/api/Ext.form.action.Submit)hile http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/4.2.2/#!/api/Ext.data.reader.Xml allows only one argument:

newExt.data.reader.Xml (http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/4.2.2/#!/api/Ext.data.reader.Reader-method-constructor)( [config] ) : Ext.data.reader.Reader

A (http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/4.2.2/#!/api/Ext.data.reader.Reader)lso, when I c&p the example from the Submit page, Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function occurs. So am I correct that the docs are outdated at that point?

Then, how can I define my custom form.errorReader in extjs 4.2.2? Which arguments will I have to bring to defeat the other error message, Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'prototype' of undefined in Reader.js

Thanks for pointing this out. Looks like it has been reported and there's a bug ticket:

Here's a thread that might help you get it configured, including an example and link:
