Hi

I wanted to customize the Ext.grid.Panel and wanted add expand/collapse functionality similar to tree panel. Please note I dont want to use Tree Panel.

I Could not use Rowexpander plugin because it uses rowBodyTpl to display data.I want to add some rows on expand icon click under that node.On collapse the newly added rows should also be collapsed.

Screenshot attached.

Any ExtJs expert.....................

Please help......Going crazy!

Use a tree grid.

Try Summary Grid(as per requirement hide the summary row)

http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/4.2.2/extjs-build/examples/grid/group-summary-grid.html

You could also try grouping rows by using Grouping feature.

I want to display expand/collapse icon in each row.Now if I expand one row then it will trigger ajax request and add the response rows to the grid under the expanded node. If I collapse the expanded node then all the rows under that node should also be collapsed.is it not possible without tree panel?
