View Full Version : Is Ext.panel.Table.bindStore a private function or not?

The method is marked as private in the doc but there is nothing indicating it as private when I look in the source file...hence I'm confused.

The reason I'm asking is because I want to be sure that the functionality doesn't change in future releases. We're currently using 4.2.1.

PS
The Ext.view.AbstractView.bindStore method is public, but this is using the Ext.util.Bindable functionality whereas that's not the case with the abovementioned.

Answered too quickly .. looking at why the differences.

OK .. this seems to be an issue with JSDuck in where it does not see any comments so it automatically marks it as private. In this case it has determined that we have overridden the class (private) and has marked it so.

I would suspect that we should use the mixin instead and not the current approach.

Exactly, this makes sense to me as well but I had to check (the function should be treated as public). Thanks for your swift reply.
