Multiple (dynamic) stores for animated multi-line chart

Greetings,
My animated (time-series) line chart requires multiple series of data to be displayed simultaneously for comparison purposes. The set of series is selected on the fly by the user. It seems that multiple data stores would be the way to go, but I've read in some posts that Ext JS doesn't support multiples stores/series for a single graph. Any help/examples would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How many lines/series are we talking about? Do you have control over the data? A single store could work. I took the line series example from the docs (http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/4.2.1/#!/api/Ext.chart.series.Line) and threw this Fiddle together.

The legend can be used to select/deselect series.
