While doing dock/undock operation to the tab causes following error. TypeError: el is null in ext-all-debug.js removeCls : function(cls) { var me = this, el = me.rendered ? me.el : me.protoEl; /* Error is pointing to the below line */ el.removeCls.apply(el, arguments); return me; }, Note: There is no impact on the functionality side.

You would need to create a working example for anyone to help:
https://fiddle.sencha.com/#home (or paste your working code)

Are there any examples for dockable tabs in 4.2?

Thanks Scott. After a quick look at the thread, it appears to be related to reordering tabs. What I am trying to do is to drag a tab out to make a floating window. Or drag a floating window to a tab bar to make it part of the tab set. We are using extjs 5, is there any component such as ducking framework?

Thanks in advance,
Ali.

Not that I am aware of. It would have to be a UX created by someone.
