Hi,

I'm using ExtJs 4 and have a screen that needs to render over 800 checkboxes (along with some text ) in rows.

This is a performance challenge and is causing IE to die.

Does anyone have any tips on how to improve the performance ? Is this do-able in IE ? I know straight javascript even might have problems and would assume ExtJs adds some overhead and costs.

Thanks for any help

Have look at using buffered renderer:

plugins: {
ptype: 'bufferedrenderer',
trailingBufferZone: 20, // Keep 20 rows rendered in the table behind scroll
leadingBufferZone: 50 // Keep 50 rows rendered in the table ahead of scroll
},
