The license purchase page has the following at the bottom of the page. How does this constitute 1 yr of support after the GA release of Ext JS 5? I know it's only 6 weeks early, but still ... there is the principle involved.

Ext JS 3 Support Expiration

Using Ext JS 3?

Support and maintenance for Ext JS 3 ends on 15 April, 2015.Ext JS 5 was released on 2 June 2014, and is available now for new application development and upgrades. Under the terms of Sencha's standard Support and Maintenance Agreement, Sencha will provide support and maintenance for Ext JS 3 through 15 April 2015, after which support for Ext JS 3 will be discontinued. For reference, the complete text of this agreement can be found here.

May I ask where it says that it would be supported for a full year after Ext 5 is released?

I'm amazed you're asking this...

From Sencha Company Update Feb 8,2012 by Michael Mullany
http://www.sencha.com/blog/sencha-company-update

"Looking ahead to the distant future: normally, we discontinue support of Ext JS X once we ship Ext JS X+2, but to serve those of you who have chosen to remain on Ext JS 3, we’re extending our support period for Ext JS 3 for 12 months beyond the shipment of the next major release after Ext JS 4. We’ll also continue to ship bug-fixes for the Ext JS 3.4.x line on a periodic basis."

Sorry, that blog is over 2 years old and I don't remember it.

True enough. Will push this up to get the date fixed.

Thanks.

For those of us stuck on v3 due to the unresolved performance problems of v4, v3 remains very important...

No reply yet? Surely this is a no-brainer. I certainly hope that promises directly from the CEO can be counted on by your customers. Please officially make this right and quickly.

I see that Mullany is no longer CEO, but he remains on the board. I truly hope his promises didn't leave with him...
