Hello,

If we use jsp html to create a table, then it is completely accessible using keyboard. But if we create a grid in extjs, screen reader does not treat it as a grid and it reads a grid row as a normal line.
Is there any way we can make extjs grid accessible?

I am building an application using extjs which will require extensive use of grids. And it is also really important to make this application completely accessible.
So I kindly request for your cooperation.

Thank you.

This might be what you are looking for:

Hope this helps.

Thanks for replying.
I have already referred to this link. But nothing is specified there about grid accessibility.
Is grid accessibility not supported in Extjs 4.2? Is it supported in Extjs 5?

With ext 5.0.1, accessibility was completely overhauled. Keyboard Nav and Focus are now on by default.
http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/5.0/core_concepts/accessibility.html

Here is an example I built for a different purpose but it does show that you can focus on a grid cell and use the keyboard arrows to navigate around the cells. Tabbing can get you into the grid and then the arrows to move around the cells.
(Be sure to select ExtJS 5.0.1 if is not selected by default)

Hope this sheds some light on the subject.
