View Full Version : Displaying only some of the axis' labels in a line chart

I have an Ext JS line chart with a lot of values along its X axis.

50727

Is there a way to display only some of the labels along the axis?
The current display is too crowded and dense.
(Let's say only round hours will have labels and the rest of the scales would be with no text)

You might try setting:
http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/5.0/apidocs/#!/api/Ext.chart.axis.Category-cfg-majorTickSteps

Thanks for the reply.
Is it working when my 'category' axis has no numeral values?
I can tell I need to set 'maximum' and 'minimum' in order to use 'majorTickSteps', but which values
should I put when my axis values are not numeral?

Does anyone have an answer for that?

I'll rephrase the question :
How can I filter some of the labels in an axis of type 'Category'?
I don't want to filter the ticks, just the labels.
