I need to create a UI where user selects some nodes from 4 different trees then submits selections. I was thinking a grid with multiple treecolumns would be the most user friendly and want to avoid using 4 separate tree panels horizontally in a container.

I checked the docs for xtype:treecolumn and theres no store config so i assume the treecolumn would use the store thats associated with its parent grid/tree panel? Is it possible to add multiple stores to the parent panel so each treecolumn can have its own store?

thx

Since a treecolumn uses the store associated with the parent grid, you wouldn't be able to have unique stores per treecolumn.
