Hi gurus

I have this piece of code in my Viewport.js:

initComponent: function (config) {
Ext.apply(Ext.tip.QuickTipManager.getQuickTip(), {
dismissDelay: 0
});
...
}

It works nicely to keep the quicktips displayed permanently until the user moves the mouse out of the field. I'm using quicktips through the inputAttrTpl attribute like this:

inputAttrTpl: MyApp.Texts.tooltips.SUB_UNIT

where

SUB_UNIT: "data-qtip='Name of IT Unit...'"

My... challenge is that the quicktip is positioned according to the mouse pointer position thus sometimes covering part of the field. My client would like to have it positioned outside the field at all times. Maybe a fixed position above or below the field.

I've tried with various solutions including "anchor", "anchorToTarget" etc. in addition to dismissDelay but all in vain.

Can someone help me here?

Thanks in advance

What is you will turn off the mouse tracking?

I thought I had done that using the anchor/anchorToTarget attributes... what else can I do?

May you provide some sample code in fiddle, to see the issue?
