View Full Version : Does not code hint in Application under Workspace

I am sure I "MUST" be doing something wrong, but I created a workspace, then an application in the workspace. When I open the app in WebStorm, the only hinting I get are classes in MY application. I don't get any Ext classes.

If I open the workspace, then open a file in the app below that, I do get hinting. (of course, I don't have a run configuration.)

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Bruce

By default both the IDE and the plugin only include hints from sources inside the project. Since the Ext JS source code is in the workspace above the project's root directory, you need to add a JavaScript library definition that points to the Ext JS SDK. This is the same process that one should follow for projects not created with Sencha Cmd. See http://docs.sencha.com/tools/ide_plugins/jetbrains_ide_plugin.html#Projects_Created_Without_Sencha_Cmd

Thanks Mark. That worked fine. I didn't look there since I "HAD" created my app under the workspace using CMD, but since the ext folder was up in the workspace, had to do this. All is good now.
