We are using extjs 4.1 and trying to change a panel from 'column' to 'table' layout since we want a complex layout with panels of different width in different rows. I tried doing this and found that the table layout is flawed.

this.layout = {
type : 'table',
columns:12,
tableAttrs: {
style: {
width: '100%'
}
}
};

This is my layout configuration and I am trying to achieve:

Maximum of three panels in a row (colspan - 4,4,4 ) - This works
If I give a colspan of 12, a single panel is created across one row - works

But,
I also have a case where I need to create two panels of 2/3 and 1/3 width of the panel

i.e., colspan - 8 and 4. This does not work. I see that the row width is equally divided into two panels
i.e., colspan 6 and 6. This is unexpected behavior.

Also, if I don't give my panel any width, the whole layout is messed up. For now, am assigning a width of '0px' as an attribute.

Can anybody help ??

Thanks for the report. Are you able to recreate this issue in a test case?
