With ExtJs 4.2.6 and IE 11.0.9600 my main page as described in index.jsp comes up but that's it - no tabs.
Any ideas how to fix this?

I haven't heard of this issue. I'm not very familiar with JavaServer Pages. Is there a way we can test this on our end to see the problem?

Sorry, the fact that it's a jsp is probably irrelevant. A JSP is a file that gets compiled to a Java servlet at runtime and sends HTML to the browser. It's just a way of combining Java and HTML The point is that with 4.2.6 and IE11 I'm getting the page that is specified in that HTML but the javascript that defines the app is not executing.

I'm not able to recreate this issue. I tried with IE11 on Windows 8.1, using the grid example from the doc page (http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/4.2.6/#!/api/Ext.grid.Panel) in a simple index.html. Any suggestions?

That is you have no problem running the app with 4.2.6 and IE11?

Correct. I created a small test app and ran it with 4.2.6 in IE 11, Windows 8.1. Everything loaded as expected. With which version of Windows are you seeing this?

Windows 7

The problem turned out to be the lack of console.log in IE.

How very annoying! Glad to hear that you at least got to the bottom of things and thanks for sharing the solution.
