View Full Version : Dialog Drag Bug

Can someone test out a bug to see if you also have it occur in your browser?

Click on a headline in the list below and then try to drag the dialog window:

I am using FF 2.0 and the dialog jitters and doesn't allow you to drag it in the y axis.

Seems to drag in any direction for me in FF - I do see the jittery thing. This is probably just rendering lag trying to redo all the dialog components. Try setting proxyDrag:true on your dialog.

I see the problem too... the dialog can't be dragged below the height of the viewport. You can see this if you scroll the page up to the top after the dialog is shown.

I set the proxyDrag:true and no difference

Head here: http://www.gabbr.com

click on a headline in the middle of the page, mess around with the dialog box, drag it around, etc.

Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click on a news headline from "entertainment" or "opinion" and try to drag around the dialog box.

it locks in the y-axis but is draggable in the x-axis.

It's a problem with the "constraintoviewport" config option. Try creating the dialog with that set to false.

constraintoviewport defaults to true. You would want to set it to false.

The jittery stuff is due to YUI drag drop (now Ext.dd) and is fixed for the next rev.
