When I do ST.component('componentLocatorxType').element('>>input') I receive the 1st input on page and not an input that is child of the component I am chaining.

But I expect to get the child input dom element of the component I am chaining.

How I can get a child dom element of a component?

Hi--

Have you tried the down() method?

http://docs.sencha.com/sencha_test/2.1.0/api/ST.future.Component.html#method-down

Thanks
Joel
