I have an application at work built on extjs for about 85% of the display(only thing not in extjs is the header and footer). At work i still have FireFox2 installed and someone else at work has firefox3 and he has been having a lot of issue where nothing displays but the header and footer(basically the ExtJS stuff does not display). At home i recently reformatted my HD and since most of my plugins now work for FF3 i decided to install it and now i am having the issues my co-worker is having where the ExtJS stuff for the most part does not show up(once in a while it will but it is not very often and completely random). We are using ExtJS version 2.2 and was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue?

Also i have tried adding the delay to the onReady function but that did work.

Yes, I get that. I still think it's the onReady firing too early.

When is this excepted to get fixed as, in my opinion, this is a huge issues as most people who use FireFox generally upgrade there software(unlike IE users).

This happens to me on a page with a single ExtJs Grid rendered into a div at the center of the page.

I tried using YUI's onContentReady instead of Ext.onReady and I'm still getting the same behavior.

Sometimes the grid appears, sometimes it doesn't.

I upgraded today to Firefox 3.0.1 and found quirk in ExtJs app that works perfectly in both Ie7 and Firefox 2.

The first page is very simple and it is used for classical login fields; It show the central panel without content and if you collapse the left panel (or either open Firebug window or resize the viewport) fields correctly become visible; from that point application behaviour is ok.

Thanks in advance

You can use this patch (http://extjs.com/forum/showthread.php?p=236287#post236287) to fix most Ext.onReady issues.

For a definite solution you'll need to wait for Firefox 3.1 (I was told this would be fixed in a future release).
