Hi all,
i'm VERY new to ExtJS, I only see demos and read some docs and forum's threads.....

I see the demo of desktop and it's amazing....

Now, my question:
it's possible to use the desktop app to manage the windows, menus, bars etc...
but all the created windows contain aspx pages with asp controls, connections to db and all the asp logics?

Thanks to all.....

The short answer is yes.

The longer answer is, it depends on how you want to do it. If you plan on using standard style postback architecture it's more difficult because Ext apps generally run on a single page.

Thanks for the reply....
could you point me to an example?

We start to develop a complex app and we are evaluating some technologies, including Extjs, so we have not the skills ... and the time ;).... to learn all.

The app will be a "classic" db app, login and SQL connection, after login, imagine the desktop with icons, every icon open a form with a grid connected to the DB (The grid is on an aspx page with DevExpress components connected to the DB or other aspx components).
From the grids the user can open other forms.....
example are :
- OrderGrid-->OrderModify
- InvoiceGrid-->PrintInvoice
- ....

we will use ExtJS library ONLY for the Desktop managment, ALL the other logic is ASP.

Many thanks.
