I just downloaded the full ext archive and I am trying to get a quick example running with jQuery, but its not working. From the INCLUDE_ORDER.txt file that came with the distribution I believe i should have a file called jquery-plugins.js but i can not find it. The only file in the directory ext-1.0\adapter\jquery is ext-jquery-adapter.js.

Am I missing something here?

Thanks --

jQuery and Prototype are not included in the full download -- only the YUI base utilities. You'll need to supply your own version of the alternate libs as needed. The build-your-own page mentions this, but perhaps it also needs to be noted on the download page.

i downloaded jquery on my own - i was just having trouble locating jquery-plugins.js

this file was not included with the jquery download or the ext download.

The link above got me the file i needed - so i am good to go

From the documentation it seemed like the plugins file would be in the download. It was quite clear that i needed to download jquery on my own.
