Hi there,

currently i learn Ext 1.0 and play around with the samples. I have an complex layout and try to add the nice loader effect from the docu-page with the bouncing box.

I came from prototype and run Ext on prototpye and scriptaculous. But when i try to add the nice effect, the box did not bounce - the box fly from the left to the center.

I play with the code and switched from prototype to the yui-utilities. It seems that the perfomance is much faster and the my effect runs fine.

Perhaps there is a little bug in the prototype-adapter?

prototype + scriptaculous is nice. However, i gotta say, i switched to YUI in september and i'm never going back.

thank you for your fast answer...

When i would switched, the only thing is must do is to include the yui-utilities (and adapter) ? Then will Ext runs complete as "stand alone"?? :-?

Yes. Just replace the prototype adapter includes with the yui ones. You don't need to include the base YUI lib files unless you're using some of their other functionality (like. YAHOO container).
