Hi everyone,

I've been playing with extJs for a week or so now and I find it truly amazing. Great work (and great community)!

I've been using the treePanel and treeNodes objects and I found something strange. All works well, but some of the tags used to render the tree reference a spacer image (s.gif) located on the extjs web site, an example of the html is shown below. I do not call this gif explicitly anywhere in my code...

<span class="x-tree-node-indent"><img src="http://extjs.com/s.gif" class="x-tree-icon"><img src="http://extjs.com/s.gif" class="x-tree-icon"></span><img id="ext-gen35" src="http://extjs.com/s.gif" class="x-tree-ec-icon x-tree-elbow"><img id="ext-gen32" src="http://extjs.com/s.gif" class="x-tree-node-icon" unselectable="on"><a id="ext-gen29" hidefocus="on" href="#" tabindex="1"><span unselectable="on">
0000019610
</span></a>

Why is this happening? Am I missing anything? Although it might seem trivial, last week I lost internet access for a couple of hours and my tree was showing place holders for the s.gif files it could not access. It didn't look pretty.

Thanks for any ideas. Keep up the great work.

Francesco

replacing the location of s.gif to something local is the first thing you should do in ext.js.
default location is: /ext/resources/images/default/s.gif

Thanks for your reply... I actually found where it's been defined.

ext-jquery-adapter.js
ext-prototype-adapter.js
ext-yui-adapter.js
Ext-min.js
Ext.js

Example:

/**
* URL to a 1x1 transparent gif image used by Ext to create inline icons with CSS background images. (Defaults to
* "http://extjs.com/s.gif" and you should change this to a URL on your server).
* @type String
*/
BLANK_IMAGE_URL : "http:/"+"/extjs.com/s.gif",

I will change it as needed.

Kind Regards,
Francesco
