View Full Version : Link looks through the neighbour grid columns [IE7]

I searched through the forum but wasn't able to found the solution to this problem:

I have a custom cell renderer

, renderCurrentPage: function (value)
{
return xooChat.printf('<a href="{0}" title="{1}">{2}</a>', value.location, value.title, value.location);
}

that displays clickable hyperlinks in the grid.

The problem is that when the column is too narrow to fit the whole link, it's underline looks through the neighbour column(s). I have only seen this in IE7. FF works ok.

Please see the attached image.

remove the default underline for hyperlinks for cells in that column and underline the link manually using the custom renderer?

What do you mean by underlining a link manually?

Anyway, I resolved this issue by changing the renderer slightly:

, renderCurrentPage: function (value, cell)
{
cell.css = "link";
return xooChat.printf('<a href="{0}" title="{1}">{2}</a>', value.location, value.title, value.location);
}

and adding this style:

.link .x-grid-cell-text
{
overflow: hidden;
}
