View Full Version : Ext JS Application architecture...

Hello,

I have used Ext JS mainly as a "side-dish" to augment previously written sites by interjecting the framework's rich control set into the web pages of the older app.

I am now getting ready to build a new, somewhat large, application and I'm looking for the 'best practice' approach used by most developers when designing larger apps with ExtJS. Is it better to have one page and use the viewport to load and destroy components into the various regions....or is it better to break the app up into your areas of functionality and load the main pages within those areas separately, each with their own viewports, etc, when necessary?

Thanks for any help...
