I tried to use the grid by using the .js and .css files. but it gave me an error in the status bar ('YAHOO' is undefined) . Can u explain what I did wrong?

my code (both css and js files are in same folder)

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
<title>Untitled Document</title>
<style type="text/css"></style>

<link href="grid.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
</head>

<body>
<div id="grid-example" style="width:534px;height:250px;overflow:hidden;position:relative;">
<script type="text/javascript" src="grid-example.js"></script>

are you loading the yahoo yui libraries? yui-ext runs on top of those

It doesn't look like you have even loaded yui-ext.js.

Take a look at my grid example:

That's great. Would you mind if I extracted your extracted code for use in the documentation center to save me from having to extract it myself? :)

I posted in the other thread also, but not at all. It is your code after all.

The example is just without the blog code - because I spent quite a lot of time extracting !

Maybe as a process, next time you make the examples for the blog, make them on a separate page and then copy the code into a blog post.

Keep up the good work !

All blog examples for the future will either a) be in an iframe or b) be on a separate page. I have learned my lesson. :)
