In firefox (and to some extent in Safari), the page loads with extra buffer on the right side. Resizing the window larger fixes the buffer. However, when resizing smaller, the buffer appears again.

Has anyone else run into this?

This is for a simple border layout.

In safari the problem only exists for the initial page load. Any resizing fixes it.

Do mean blank space? Can you post a link or simple example and image.

This is how it looks when initially loading in Firefox:

This is how it looks when sizing down:

This is how it's supposed to always look (and how it looks when making the window bigger):

These type of questions belong in Help.

Are you including CSS to kill the body scroll, margins and padding? E.g. (from the examples):

html, body {
margin:0;
padding:0;
border:0 none;
overflow:hidden;
height:100%;
}

overflow was set to auto. changing it to hidden fixed the problem. Thanks!
