View Full Version : viewport render bug in Firefox 3.0.11

Something strange happens, if I build a simple viewport and view it in FF. As soon as I use 'split: true' for west or east or both, the rendering of the center region looks corrupt. If I resize it manually, the viewport rendering looks the way it should. In the first instance, I can only drag the border into the opposite direction as the center region. Any ideas?! :-?

Ext.onReady(function(){
Ext.BLANK_IMAGE_URL = "ext3rc2/resources/images/default/s.gif";
Ext.QuickTips.init();

var viewport = new Ext.Viewport({
id:"simplevp"
,layout:"border"
,renderTo: Ext.getBody()
,items:[{
region: "north"
,xtype: "panel"
,html: "North"
},{
region: "west"
,xtype: "panel"
,width: 200
,split: true
,html: "West"
},{
region: "center"
,xtype: "panel"
,html: "Center"
},{
region: "east"
,xtype: "panel"
,width: 200
,html: "East"
},{
region: "south"
,xtype: "panel"
,html: "South"
}]
});
})

Try setting 'height: something' on the north/south regions?

North and South must have a height.

Could be the onReady bug. Try adding a delay.

In fact, it is the FF 'onReady' render bug. And a delay helps :D. Thanks for the prompt help.
I added a delay in this form:

Ext.onReady(function(){
// your code here ...
},
this,
{delay:100}
)
