Hello there!

I want simply ask, wether there is a package with the API-Documentation to use offline, modify etc.? The Source Code of the online Documentation is not really readable, but I would like to learn a bit (I'm copy&paste fan, I'm looking through source, to learn about).

Does anyone now, where to get a readable source?

Thanks a lot!

The API docs (including javascript source) are included in the Ext SDK (e.g. docs/resources/docs.js).

The API doc within the archive is unusable.
When I open ext-3.0.0\docs\index.html, the main tab "Api Home" displays "Loading..." but doesn't load in fact.
There is a javascript error reported by Firebug (Firefox):

this.el is null : this.render(this.el.dom.parentNode);
ext-all-debug.js (ligne 14590)
which is unfortunatly not that revelant :/

It does not work with IE either.

Yeah, now, that you're saying this, me too.

Should I run it in XAMPP? Maybe it needs PHP?

I think you don't. The documentation included should work offline "out-of-the-box".
Is this a bug ?

The API docs use XHR to load pages and XHR doesn't work on the local filesystem.

You need to publish the API docs to a HTTP server (Apache?).

ps. Another way would be to use the ext-basex user extension to allow local filesystem access.

Will a offline AIR version be provided ?
