View Full Version : Resizing GroupTabPanel

Hi - this is a question I asked about a month ago but want to revisit it as I'm not happy with my current solution.

My issue is that I have a grouptabpanel that the contents of one of the tabs is loaded via ajax (autoLoad). However, if the content returned is larger (in length) than the height of the grouptabpanel the content is cut off (or a scroll bar appears inside the control). I've tried different layouts but can't seem to find a good consistent way to resize the group tab panel (or the encompassing viewport).

I'd like to just get another opinion or direction before I just settle for my current approach (using the embedded scroll bar).

Thanks.

Here is some sample code to demonstrate my issue, as you can see the second tab's content doesn't show up. This just demonstrates the issue - my real example uses autoLoad, but it seems like what I'm seeing occurs regardless.

Ext.onReady(function(){

var viewport = new Ext.Container({
layout:'fit',
renderTo:'main',
items:[{
xtype: 'grouptabpanel',
tabWidth: 130,
activeGroup: 0,
id: 'userhomepanel',
layoutOnTabChange: true,
items: [{
mainItem: 0,
id: 'dashboardgroup',

items: [
{
layout:'fit',
title:'test',
html:'test<br>test<br>test<br>'
},
{
title:'test2',
layout:'fit',
html:'xsdstest<br>test<br>test<br>test<br>test<br>test<br>test<br>test<br>test<br>zzzzz'

}]
}]
}]
});

});
