I took one of the examples:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="mypath/ext_3.0/ext-all.css" type="text/css" />
<link rel="stylesheet" href="mypath/ext_3.0/xtheme-blue.css" type="text/css" />
<script type="text/javascript" src="mypath/ext_3.0/adapter/ext/ext-base.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="mypath/ext_3.0/ext-all-debug.js"></script>
<script type='text/javascript'>
Ext.onReady(
function() {

var myBorderPanel = new Ext.Panel({
renderTo: document.body,
width: 700,
height: 500,
title: 'Border Layout',
layout: 'border',
defaults: {
collapsible: true,
split: true,
bodyStyle: 'padding:15px'
},
items: [{
title: 'Footer',
region: 'south',
height: 150,
minSize: 75,
maxSize: 250,
cmargins: '5 0 0 0'
},{
title: 'Navigation',
region:'west',
margins: '5 0 0 0',
cmargins: '5 5 0 0',
width: 175,
minSize: 100,
maxSize: 250
},{
title: 'Main Content',
collapsible: false,
region:'center',
margins: '5 0 0 0'
}]
})
}
)
</script>

But when the page is rendered in my browser, the navigation page is not collapsible. Am I missing something else?

Do I need to add any div containers for this to work, or does it just assume it starts from the body?

TIA,
Nick.

It's a bug that has bee fixed in the code in SVN

Thanks. Can you tell me how often are new builds are released and when the last one was?

I don't know about that.

Found the cause...

need the ext_3.0/resources/css/ext-all.css style sheet for this rather than the ext_3.0/ext-all.css one. It all works nicely now.
