Hi,

Sometimes when i load my page i get the following error:

Ext.EventObject is undefined in ext-all.js line 7
The error does not appear always when i load the page.
It is not reproducable (for me at this moment).

I include extjs this way:

<script type="text/javascript" src="../js/extjs/adapter/ext/ext-base.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="../js/extjs/ext-all.js"></script>
The error does not affect the loading and displaying of my widgets.
So, the page works correct but in IE an error box appears.

Any ideas why this is happening?

thx

are you initializing your app in an Ext.onReady call?

yes, i initialize my application within onReady.

I declare 3 variables outside but those only hold some hard coded messages.

i am using a portal environment. So extjs is loaded within a portlet.
But this should not make a difference (in my opinion).

Ive seen this error come up when you load the Ext library twice in the same page.

Check FireBug to see if you have two requests on the Net tab for ext-all.js

that's it! \:D/

i've loaded ext-all.js in two different portlets.
i moved it to my theme so everything works out fine now.

We are rendering another HTML page in our tabpanel. We are using

autoLoad: {
url: '/CATS_UI/opt/sdo/apache/htdocs/catsClient/HTML/AccountInformation.html',
scripts: true
}

and through AJAX

listeners:{
render: function(w){
Ext.Ajax.timeout=10000;
Ext.Ajax.request({
url: '/CATS_UI/opt/sdo/apache/htdocs/catsClient/HTML/SystemInformation.html',
success: function(response) {
outHTML = response.responseText;
Ext.get('tabSystemInfo').update(outHTML,true);
},
failure: function(response) {
alert('Error: Could not connect to the server. Please try again.');
}
});
}

===

Through both ways, I was able to load my html page in tabpanel in IE but not in Firefox.

We have HTML page specific JS files, which we are loading on Ext.OnReady() - So, we have this Ext.OnReady() called twice.

Any help on How I cn load this in Forefox will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
