View Full Version : License question, how to release under Mozilla or Apache License?

I am considering using ExtGwt for more than one project, and these projects are all open source.
However, the projects are all using Mozilla Public Licence and one of them may use Apahce or other open source licences in the future.
As far as I can understand, if I use ExtGwt under an open source licence, I have to use GPL V3 as the licence of my project. For various reasons, our projects can't use GPL, so how can I obtain the freedom to choose the open source licence I want?
I guess if I buy a developer licence, then I can release code in any licence I want, right?
This feels a little bit weird though, since I'll certainly be releasing the results of my work as open source, it is just that I can't use GPL as the licence. Your comments would be appreciated.
