Background
----------------------
We have a GridPanel with a store (whose autoDestroy attribute is true) that is added to a Window.

new Ext.Window({
modal: true,
items: grid
});

In IE6/7,
when the window is opened, ~5 megs of memory browser is used.
when the window is closed, only a fraction of it is released.

Question ?
----------------------
How does one get more memory released when the window is closed?

Qualifiers
----------------------
I’ve tried calling ‘destroy()’ explicitly on the grid and the window without consequence to the memory recovery.

What Ext version are you using?

3.0.3 is available for public download now and has a lot of memory management fixes.

Using 3.0.0, but will try 3.0.3 to see if that wards off the observed behavior.

With 3.0.3, the memory released is orders of magnitude better.

~5meg consumed w/ ~4meg released .... much better than 3.0 where insignificant memory was released ...

Thanks for the suggestion to upgrade
