Simple Grid CRUD example

I would like to populate a grid with data from a mySQL database using RPC with java (not php). So simple but seemingly impossible with Ext-GWT.

I have tried numerous tutorials and examples which do not work (out of date, include errors, etc, etc) and searched forums. There are lots of 'snippets' and winks, but for someone just starting that is useless.

Is there anyone kind enough to point me at a really simple example (THAT WORKS - ie has ALL the source files not just some with step by step guides) of an Ext-GWT grid populated with data from a mySQL database using RPC?

did you look into the examples in the download zip file?

"examples which do not work" is not a good starting point to solve your problems and configuration issues.

please post your current status and/or your current error messages to help you.
