View Full Version : [CLOSED] Firefox visualization of Grid Plugin Expander Rows

14 Dec 2009, 2:31 AM
I've put a grid in my app wich uses the plugin to expand rows. It's working fine in IE but is not showing the expand button in Firefox 3.5.5. :-?

Two caps to illustrate the bug (the first from IE, the second from FF):

look with firebug into your application and analyse the css style etc.
look also if there some errors in loading some images.

also be sure if you update to a newer version of GXT that you use also the new gxt-all.css and the new resorces

This error is produced by the code i've put in the css to resolve the problem of the text larger than the column in Firefox. This problem is resolved by IE putting suspensive dots automatically.

.ext-gecko .x-grid3-cell-inner{
cursor: pointer; cursor: hand; -moz-binding:url('ellipsis-xbl.xml#ellipsis');

This is the content of the ellipsis-xbl.xml:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<binding id="ellipsis">
<xul:window><!-- xul:window tag required for FF2 -->
<xul:description crop="end" xbl:inherits="value=xbl:text"><children/></xul:description>

But deleting this code from css resolve one problem creating new one.

maybe you can disable it with something like (you need to find yout the right syntax):

.ext-gecko .x-grid3-cell-inner{
cursor: pointer; cursor: hand; -moz-binding:url('ellipsis-xbl.xml#ellipsis');

.ext-gecko .x-grid3-td-expander .x-grid3-cell-inner{
