View Full Version : [CLOSED][3.1] Overflow menu: incorrect sizing for bottom toolbar on initial expand

4 Jan 2010, 1:18 PM
Ext version tested:

Ext 3.1.0 rev. 5847

Adapter used:

css used:

only default ext-all.css

Browser versions tested against:

FF3.5 (firebug 1.4.5 installed)
Safari 4
Chrome 3

Operating System:

WinXP Pro

The overflow menu for a bottom toolbar that is near the bottom of the page's viewing area is not sizing correctly on its first expand. Consequently, its buttons are being shown in a menu scroller, but on all browsers (except for IE7), the menu isn't big enough for the buttons to be readable.

Once the overflow toolbar has been expanded once already however, it sizes correctly when expanded from there on after.

I showcased the problem in the example, and in the attached screen shot below. Just as a note, this problem was not exhibited in 3.0.0.

Test Case:

Ext.onReady( function() {

new Ext.Viewport( {
border: false,
layout: 'border',

items: [
region: 'west',
width: 100,
html: "West Panel",
bbar: [
text: "Button One"
text: "Button Two"
text: "Button Three"
region: 'center',
html: "Refer to West Panel bbar. There are 3 buttons that should be on the toolbar, but on the first click of the overflow button, the overflow menu is not sized correctly, and the two remaining buttons are shown in a scroller. On the second click of the overflow menu button, the overflow menu is sized correctly."
} );

} );

Actually this has been resolved in svn. Menu calculations were changed for 3.1.2 and this looks correct in 3.2 as well.
