Hello people,

how can i get manual the total height of a grid before is rendered? when i set the autoHeight=true i can get the height of it. but this property cant set if scrollbars visible. Now i will expand my view panel (NO VIEWPORT and NO FITLAYOUT) to the total height of the grid before showing.

Any Ideas? :-?

hmm...how can i calculate the total height of a gridpanel. for example my gird have 20 rows and i need mayby 504pixel to display the grid without schrollbars at first time.
(I know i can use autoHeight=true, but no scrollbars a showed.) After resizing via Ext.Resizable i must have scrollbars.
At tis moment i can only set a "static" start gird height.

thx in advance

Use autoHeight, then poke the overflow style

Thanks for your help. But if i use
Ext.get("grid_id").applayStyle('overflow:scroll'); the full grid becomes scrollbars. i need it for the "row area" only. can i get the row div separet via Ext.get ?

regards
