Im trying to combine ExtJS and O3D.. (yes i know combining 2D GUI
packages with OGL windows is always tricky.)

It ALMOST works. My O3D panel is the center panel of a border
layout. It respect the left and right margins correctly. When I
resize or move panels horizontally it adjusts perfectly.

My problem is verticle. The O3D window is "bleeding into" the North
and South panel areas above and below it. It doesn't render into
those spaces but they do obscure what should be there. And when I
resize vertically it doesnt resize the O3D drawing area properly

I've attached 3 pictures so you can see what i mean. Id love a
suggestion on how to fix it.

Pictures are below...

Thanks! Found my answer last night by accident.

it turns out out be a subtlety of O3D that as resulting in my getting two drawing canvases. All fixed and working fine!

It is helpful for future users to see specific problems and solutions.

What exactly were you doing wrong and what did you do to fix it? I'd be curious to know, as I might be doing some drawing code soon as well.

I have a panel called "o3dWindow" that contained the html <div id="o3d"></div>"

The result as that O3D was inserting an O3D canvas in the HTMl both where the explicit div was AND in response to the div created by the panel itself. I changed the name of the panel to fix it to something that didn't start with "o3d"

Including all the code involved, before I knew where the problem was, would have meant attaching numerous large javascript files. i didn't want to burden the board with all of that.
