View Full Version : [FIXED-621] Collapsed Region Disappears on Expand

22 Feb 2010, 5:34 PM
Ext version tested:

Ext 3.1.1

Adapter used:

css used:

only default ext-all.css

Browser versions tested against:

When an item is added to an empty tab panel in a collapsed region of a border layout, then region disappears when the expand button is clicked. If the region is not initially collapsed, the issue does not occur.

The issue is similar to this: http://www.extjs.com/forum/showthread.php?t=88765

Test Case:

Ext.onReady(function() {

function AddTab() {
var p = Ext.getCmp('MyPanel');
p.add({ title: 'Tab 1', html: 'Some Content' });

new Ext.Viewport({
layout: 'border',
items: [
{ region: 'center', html: 'Click Add, then expand the west panel.',
tbar: { xtype: 'toolbar', items: [{ text: 'Add', handler: AddTab}]} },
{ region: 'west', xtype: 'tabpanel', id: 'MyPanel',
width: 200, collapsed: true, collapsible: true

Steps to reproduce the problem:

Load the code sample, Click the Add button in the toolbar, then click the Expand button.

The result that was expected:

The west region should expand and display the added tab.

The result that occurs instead:

The west region disappears.
