Ext version tested:


Ext 3.0.3


css used:


only default ext-all.css


Browser versions tested against:


IE6
FF3


Operating System:


WinXP Pro



Description:


When the Row editor prompt out the error (for example mandatory fields), the error prompt with move again and again ('left and right') because the X offset valid is out of the browser maximun width.


Steps to reproduce the problem:


using the example in the RowEditor, edit a row and remove one of the grid value
error message will prompt out on the right hand side
adjust the browser width to close to the grid
the error messsage prompt flow and back.



Possible fix:
Adject the location of the error prompt to with in the browser width.

I believe this was fixed in 3.1.1. Can you test in that version.

No it is not. I had raised a bug report on Roweditor including this problem couple of weeks ago. it is pending.

Using 3.2.2 and the bug still exists. Is there a solution for this?

Not yet, I've encountered the same problem and it's sorta important for my application especially when users still seem to be using the WinXP / (some browser) combination

I really like this feature, but can't implement the change to my application due to bugs like this one explained above. Once it's fixed though, I believe the end-user will really like this new feature!
