Hello!

I am implementing a "Live search" thing very similar to the example given in http://www.extjs.com/deploy/dev/examples/form/forum-search.html, and I'm experiencing the following problems:

1. In IE6, the PagingToolbar is partially cropped. I can see only the upper half of it (see attachment).
2. In IE7, the PagingToolbar doesn't display at all.

After going through my code over and over again, I ended up trying to remove the DOCTYPE, which indeed fixed all of the problems. But as I'm extending an existing web-app, removing the DOCTYPE is not an option (it causes a lot of layouting issues in the existing code).

First I thought this would be one of those "under certain conditions" issues of my code. But then I re-checked your example to see what DOCTYPE you are actually using. You are also using standards mode (<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">). And guess what - the example shows just the same issues: In IE6, the PagingToolbar is partially cropped, and it does not display at all in IE7.

Disclaimer: I don't have "real" installations of all mentioned browsers on hand. I did test on a real IE6 in Win2k, but my "IE7" was just the renderig engine built into IETester (http://www.my-debugbar.com/wiki/IETester/HomePage). So I cannot guarantee for the IE7 problem.

Thank you in advance.

We already have a ticket open for this and we're looking into it, thanks.

This is fixed in SVN.
