View Full Version : How to overwrite 'LoadMask' and/or icon and message?

Hi All !

Uff, I am seraching for hours now, but cannot find a way to do that.
My app has a identifying symbol, which I would like to use as the symbol appearing
while loading [it's an animated gif].

In the pre- 3.x, thre is a icon in the styles, but for 3.1, I cannot find anything.

Would be nice to also have a method to override the default behavior instead of developing something individual.

Any help would be great !

Thanks so far,

You're right there is a difference in 3.1 and previous versions:

.x-mask-loading div {
padding:5px 10px 5px 25px;
background:no-repeat 5px 5px;

NOT 3.1!

.x-mask-loading div {
padding:5px 10px 5px 25px;
background: #fbfbfb url( '../images/default/grid/loading.gif' ) no-repeat 5px 5px;
line-height: 16px;

Why not just override the "x-mask-loading" css (in your own css file), or specify another in your LoadMask's config's msgCls?

Hi !

Much thanks for your reply! Sometimes, one forget the basics .... :-(
I just inserted my image in the style as background and so I have it ;-)

On the other hand:There is the remaining "...loading" message and this
is the other thing, I wish to replace, at best dynamically!

If you know, how to do, let me know!

Best regards,
