I have an html fragment in a file:

<ul>
<ul>
<li><a href="http://www.php.net/" target="_blank">The official PHP site</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.phpmagazine.net/" target="_blank">The PHP magazine</a></li>
</ul>
</ul>

I am autoloading this in a panel using:

title: 'Home',
autoScroll: true,
autoLoad: 'home.htm'

I expect this to come out looking like this:

The official PHP site
The PHP magazine
but instead i get:

The official PHP site
The PHP magazine

so it looks likt the normal html formatting is ignored

Could anybody please tell me what i am doing wrong, i can't find any answer anywhere on this and it is probably something really simple?

The default extjs style sheets are changing the way the list looks in the body of the panel. Try adding the option preventBodyReset to your config:

title: 'Home',
autoScroll: true,
preventBodyReset: true,
autoLoad: 'home.htm'

Thanks a lot for this, I will try it out this evening.

EXt JS is both Heaven and Hell.

It gives enormous added value but, even with the very good API documentation , can be a real pain to find solutions for little things like this.
