View Full Version : Panel.HTML not rendering properly

8 Mar 2010, 10:35 AM
I have a page that needs to render HTML stored in the database.
(I am using ext:HTMLEditor to input the data).

On the page I have:

<ext:Panel runat="server" ID="pnlBody"></ext:Panel>

In the code behind I have:

this.pnlBody.Html = item.BodyText;

Simple enough, and the Panel is being populated, but the HTML tags are not being rendered.
Data being populated in the Panel is:

Martian <EM>spacecraft</EM> landed on the outskirts of town last night.&nbsp; Everyone may take<STRONG> 1 day</STRONG> off to deal with this situation.

But there is no HTML formatting. The tags are not showing, so the page at least recognizes they are there.

When the HTML is viewed in the ext:HTMLEditor, it renders properly.

I must be missing something....

are you setting preventReset to true? What Ext JS framework add-on are you using?

What you see is what I have coded, no preventReset.

We are using Ext.Net 1.0.

Perhaps you should contact the Ext.net folks, as it's not Just "Ext JS"
