hi jamie,

since this one is still open, i took a look at it with firebug:

the CSS

.ext-gecko .x-form-text, .ext-ie8 .x-form-text {
padding-bottom:0;
padding-top:2px;
}

is causing the problem. setting the padding of bottom and top to 0px or 2px both work, but with 0px the text-cursor is too big when focussing the field so i suggest to change it to:

.ext-ie8 .x-form-text {
padding-bottom:0;
padding-top:2px;
}

.ext-gecko .x-form-text {
padding-bottom:2px;
padding-top:2px;
}

kind regards,
tobiu

Jay's looking into it, did your override that older versions of FF into account?

hi jamie,

to be honest, i don't have firefox 3.57 any more after the update.
the extra padding-bottom of 2px should not make a difference (since it already looked like it was there in that version), but someone definitely should test it!
