Hi All,
How can i get a component having multiple file attachment?
The EXT library has single file attachment.

So, how can we customize it for multiple file attachment.

Thanks

Rajesh

If you are thinking about browsing for multiply files at once you have to use GoogleGears or some kind of flash uploader for that.

As @danguba said, you can't do it with flat out html. You need to use either

a) A browser addon (Gears)
b) Flash

so, you mean to say that EXT JS does not have a componet for file upload with multiple files attachment.

Thanks for your support.

It has nothing to do with ExtJS, you can't do it with HTML.

So to answer your question, no.

that's wrong, for sure you can do multiple file upload

<form action="file-upload.php" method="POST" enctype="multipart/form-data">
Send these files:<br>
<input name="userfile[]" type="file"><br>
<input name="userfile[]" type="file"><br>
<input type="submit" value="Send files">
</form>

Yeah, but that way you have to browse to each file individually. I understood that he is trying to browse for more than one file at a time...

Yeah, but that way you have to browse to each file individually. My thought was that he is trying to browse for more than one file at a time.

This is not possible without flash because of the limitation of OS browse dialog. The Flash component activate multiple file select in the Dialog.
Example: http://demo.element-it.com/Examples/multipow/SimpleUpload.html
Technically it creates also an array of file fields like the HTML snippet.

HTML5 (where implemented, and YMMV) allows multiple file select in one file input.

Ah, didn't knew that. But how is the browser implementation, do actual browsers already support HTML5? As i understood the specifications are not finished yet.

I solved this by using Google Gears
