Hello,

I am completely new to ExtJS. I am trying to integrate a ext js grid in a plugin I am developping in the Wordpress framework.
All of these stuffs are deployed on my DS-207+ Synology NAS.
Loading time is approx 10 seconds (I am a little bit surprised of these response time) : first my web page is displayed with my ext js grid empty. Then, few seconds later, the data (retrieved from a mysql database) are displayed.

Is there an easy way to display the page and the data at the same time ?

Thx a lot for your help.

Fabrice.

i think your applicationspeed has nothing todo with extjs^^
u can add an loadingmask to the extjs grid by using this config

loadMask: true

ive written an application with about 120 JS, minified an merged into one, my application is completly loaded in 2 seconds, so i think the speed of your application has nothing todo with extjs.

Ah ok, i don't use any "minification" for the moment (i need to learn about it). And my Syno has poor performances too.

maybe u can use firebug, to take a look how long the request filling your grid takes. with a bad connection and a lot of entries, it can take some seconds ~o)
