Hi everyone,

Playing with Ext JS, I have come across an issue: I need to create a fieldset and fill it with a handful of grids and buttons. This is what I'm trying to do (the names in the 'items' section are variables referring to various controls I have previously defined in the script):

var fs = new Ext.form.FieldSet({
title: '',
layout: 'absolute',
x: 10,
y: 415,
height: 210,
width: 990
id: 'EditPanel',
items: [
grid2,
grid3,
btnAddCode,
btnMdfPer,
btnAddPer,
btnClsRte,
btnSave,
btnDiscard,
btnExport,
btnAnalyze,
btnChkRtg
]
});But this doesn't seem to work. Can anyone please give me a hint as to what I'm doing wrong? Sorry if the question is stupid - I'm an absolute newbie :">

"doesn't work"?

Thanks for the info.

But why use absolute layout? YOU have to code the x/y position of every item?

Well, I'm using Ext Designer to position all controls, but I have to finish it all manually in JS since the Designer isn't exactly good for all kinds of things.

Anyway, the answer to my question is simple enough (thanks burzilov) - failed to notice it even though I scanned the code a few times looking specifically for this.
