Expander closed in grid, on load How to. (Need Help)

So I am attempting to see if I can have a grid that is has the expander automatically closed.
I am not exactly sure how to do this, and could not find any simplified way of doing it after search the forums for about 10 minutes.

Below is the idea that I am going for, where it shows a summary totals but when expanded shows the actual data of course.

Should I be calling to do this, with grouping?
