hi guys,
thank you all for your help/effort.
quick one: has anyone seen this happen to them in IE? (please see attachment)

there is no bottom border for textfields in IE (i am using IE7, have not tried IE8 yet)
in FF3 everything is fine.

the code is this:

{
columnWidth: 0.40,
items: [
{
border: true,
columnWidth: 0.60,
height: 100,
items: [
{
fieldLabel: 'Donor status',
xtype: 'textfield'
}
],
layout: 'form',
xtype: 'panel'
}
],
layout: 'column',
title: 'Donor Status',
xtype: 'fieldset'
}
any help will be greatly appreciated.
steve.

hi,
i have removed the height: 100 and still it does the same.
any other thoughts ... i've been experimenting with a fix, but so far it yielded no results.

thanks.

border-bottom: 2px solid #c1c1c1;
}

{

defaults: {
cls: 'x-form-text-field',
focusClass: 'x-form-focus-text-field',
labelStyle: 'border:1px solid black; width:50px;',
width: 50,
xtype: 'textfield'
},
items: [
{
fieldLabel: 'Height',
name: 'height'
},
{
fieldLabel: 'Weight',
name: 'weight'
}
],
layout: 'form'
